INFORMATION FOR 2020

CAMMERAYGAL P&C Sports sub-committee invites students to play football in the Northern Suburbs Football Association competition

The season runs from late March to September.

AGE GROUPS

In 2020 Cammeraygal High school will enter 6 teams into the competition:

Girls U13 and U14

Boys U13 and U14.

If you are turning 13 in 2019 you can play in an U13 team and if you are turning 14 in 2020 you can play in a U14 team.

MATCH TIMES

Boys – Saturday mornings usually between 8.30am and 12.30pm

Girls – Sunday mornings usually between 9.30am and 1pm

TEAM INFORMATION

The school will be entering the teams through North Sydney United (NSU) football club.  Students will benefit from the use of NSU training grounds, insurance and coaches.  The children will be able to attend training sessions locally.

UNIFORM

NSU will supply the uniform, the cost is included in the registration fee.

The Northern Suburbs Football Association (NSFA) maintains a website with fixtures, results and competition ladders here.

FEES

Registration fees for 2016 are likely to be around $300 (tbc) this will include soccer strip and training.  There will also be an additional charge of around $100 for the coaching over the 6 months.

TRAINING

Training will take place at Cammeray Oval or Anderson Park, days and times to be confirmed.  Training will start in February 2019.

TEAM MANAGER 

A volunteer parent will be needed from each team to act as manager.  This role involves emailing the team with game times each week and liaising with the CHS P&C Sports Soccer convenor on any issues that may arise.

PLAYER’S COMMITMENT

In registering to play soccer, all players are making a commitment. You are committing to attend all training sessions and games unless you are sick or injured. You are also committing to learn the rules and be a team player. You may not pull out of your team unless you are sick or injured. If this is the case, you must notify the manager or coach as soon as you realise you cannot play.

REGISTRATION

If you are interested in playing please complete a registration form on the CHS website which can be accessed by clicking here.  This needs to be done by early February if you wish to play in 2019 as training will start in the 2nd week of Term 1.

You will be contacted by the P&C sports sub-committee soccer convenor who will confirm if you have a place on the team and will provide you with further details including details of how to register with NSU for the Cammeraygal team.
