Training and matchplay
Tennis team training occurs during school term, five days a week, after school on a Monday, Wednesday and Thursday; and on Saturday and Sunday mornings. Each team member has his/her own schedule tailored for his /her skill development. A student may have less training days if player’s standard is at a lower level.
Tournaments can be during school hours and on weekends and holidays.
Entry to the team is strictly by tennis trials or an invitation.
The cost will depend on numbers.
The cost of tennis participation depends on chosen activity. It varies from as low as $126 for nine 1h:15 m sessions of group tennis fitness up to $80 for 1 h private lesson (1:1 coach to student ratio).
School tournaments are approx $25 per event/day.
If you are interested in playing please complete a registration form on the CHS website which can be accessed by clicking here. This needs to be done by 10 December if you wish to play in the first competition for 2020.
